Néstor Castiglione is a writer, journalist, and lecturer of classical music and the popular music of early Shōwa era Japan (1925 – 1945) born and raised in Los Angeles. Among his other passions are literary fiction, easy listening instrumentals from the 1950s – 1970s, good food, retro Japanese video games (circa 1980 – 2000), and cats. He lives in Pasadena.
